Andrea is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources with broad experience across multiple industries with a depth of knowledge in program development and implementation, succession planning, performance management and communications. Her enthusiasm about stretching her comfort zone and learning new things have provided her the opportunity to work on a variety of projects outside of HR including major industrial projects, business operations and Aboriginal Relations.
Andrea’s focus on analytics and developing a deep understanding of the businesses she supports were key factors in her being awarded the 2017 HR Reporter Rising Star award. She holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Calgary and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, is a qualified Myers-Briggs Practitioner and certified in Prosci Change Management.
Andrea resides in Chestermere, Alberta and can often be found trying her hand at something new. A novice handywoman, Andrea likes general building projects or refinishing furniture and is gearing up to learn wood turning. She has also been known to try various types of abstract art or experiment with new recipes. She is a beginner wood worker, amateur fisher and epic car dancer.
